Trans Refuge: Host Home Info Session
January 11, 2026, 2-3pm — Online with MUUSJA
All across the country, trans people are fleeing legislatively hostile states, but relocating is difficult and often requires community support. The two main paths are the Host Home Program and the Accompaniment Team Program. This info session will explain the format of each program, including the application process and an overview of training materials. There will also be time for general Q&A.
Queer & Disabled: Online Community Conversation
January 12, 2026, 6-7:30pm — Online via Zoom
Queerness and Disability carry a lot of overlap — both invite us into the work of owning our unique identity, fighting normative assumptions, and advocating for true inclusivity in both personal and public spaces.
At this online LGBTQ community listening session we’ll explore the joys and challenges of being both disabled and queer. We’ll discuss our hopes and dreams for the queer disability community, and even talk about accessibility and barriers in LGBTQIA+ organizing — and how we’d like to see things change. This event is for anyone who self identifies as both LGBTQIA+ and also as disabled (i.e. anyone with physical, sensory, intellectual, or mental/psychological disabilities — including folks with chronic health issues and those who are neurodivergent!).
